Hello,
Welcome to March! I bet you’re excited for the new month. It’s only the third month and many have already set a new record for themselves in the year 2022. Some have started on the path of personal development and have actively started exhibiting an admirable level of growth. Keep at it and rest assured that it will soon pay off. Some have started squashing their sales target for 2022 one day at a time. It’s okay to reflect on your accomplishments and give yourself a pat on the back.
But always remember, a salesman’s job is never finished.
Let’s be honest, the real estate market is a very competitive one and you need to always be on the safe edge by staying ahead of the game. Doing this means occasionally thinking outside the box. In order to be successful in the industry, you need to do more than just “keep -up” with the trends, you need to step out and try to do things differently.
Here are a few things to KNOW that might help you with this:
Know thyself: Knowing yourself is knowing your strength and weaknesses. You’re not superman and therefore may not be able to do it all. It’s okay to acknowledge this to yourself and ask for help. Know what skills form your strength and how to harness this to achieve the results you want.
Know your onions: This means to be very knowledgeable about something. Essentially, it is a must that you are familiar with the demands of the industry within which you operate. Part of your life is your work; your work is your self-chosen endeavor and you must give it the very best shot you have. Do not leave it to others to educate you on all the aspects of the products and services you claim to offer, familiarize yourself with everything and ask yourself the toughest questions before your clients/prospects ask them from you, and always be ready with the answers.
Know your clients: Just as human nature dictates, clients often come in different forms and so do their attitudes and demand. Listen to your clients, observe them and understand what makes them tick. Being able to predict your clients can be a very powerful tool in selling to them
Know your competitors: Competition is the order of the day in sales. It is said to keep your friends close and your enemies closer. Don’t be afraid of your competitors, rather, watch them from afar and even closely. Improve on what your competitors know and do and know what your competitors do not know.
Know when to take a break: Whilst on the race to your target, always remember to take a break. Even while running a marathon, athletes stop to catch their breath. While on a car race, racers make a pitstop to refuel their tanks and fix their tyres. Your body and mind are your engines, do not wear them out.
In all, always remember, you’ve got to stay ahead of the game to be able to stay in it.
I wish you a lovely week ahead as you MARCH on to success.
XOXO,
Miss Grey
