INSIDE THE HEAD OF A BULL

A big congratulations to all our sales stars in 2022 Q1.

Everyone pulled their weight but you have stood yourselves out. It’s not an easy feat, one I think we all agree on.

Some days back, I got the chance to sit with Lucky Opogah. You may remember him as the Alvin Grey/LandWey Q1 Champion as announced during the Push-to-Target conference which was held on the 7th of April, 2022.

Lucky is quite an interesting man. He is charismatic and amiable to the core. He is also very bullish about his sales record. Lucky certainly does NOT joke about “securing the bag”and it’s no surprise that with over N145 million naira brought in in the first quarter of the year, Lucky has earned himself a spot on the highly coveted Bull level.

We had an interesting conversation which I would like to share with you below;

Miss Grey: Can you describe briefly your journey into real estate?
Lucky: I have been doing sales for a long time in FMCG, I realized there was not much to gain because I only got my monthly salary without any other benefit. I found out that real estate is where the money is because you are paid commissions and still stand a chance to win other incentives.
I got into real estate as a novice, thanks to LandWey and Alvin Grey for the massive training and opportunity to grow.

Miss Grey: How do you feel about hitting the bull target for Q1 2022.
Lucky: It feels quite exhilarating. I have to admit I’m quite happy and excited.

Miss Grey: What has been your experience on the journey to hitting this milestone?
Lucky: Each sale comes with its unique challenges. This is because each client is dynamic in their own way but I can say that having to deal with different clients from different works of life and different dispositions has given me the advantage of fair experience. There have been some bad days and some really good days. Regardless, all my clients are great.

Miss Grey: What are some of the things and strategies that you think may have contributed to your success thus far?
Lucky: It is simple. You must understand the many dynamics of sales and how to properly manage the relationship with your clients

Miss Grey: Could you share some of challenges that you’ve encountered on this journey.
Lucky: At this point in my real estate journey, nothing poses a challenge to me anymore because over time, I have learnt to deal with each obstacle that comes with sales and in the last quarter so far there’s been no remarkable new challenge. When it does come, I will be ready to take it on. Also, I want to thank LandWey for the massive training and opportunity to grow. It has been really instrumental to becoming who I am today.

Miss Grey: What’s your target for Q2?
Lucky: I can say a lot of things, but I’ll prefer to keep it simple. For Q2, my goal is to stay winning!
